Urukundo Initiative is social enterprise founded in 2019 by a group of 4 young, talented and passionate youth with a background in Medical studies, which give the team an advantage of a high level of evidence based knowledge on adolescent sexual reproductive health and adolescents’ behaviors in general. The love which adolescents misinterpret thus engage in risky sexual practices, the love that parents have for their children and the love we have for young adolescents and their families gave us an inspiration name ‘’URUKUNDO’’ which means love in Kinyarwanda. We provide an evidence based sexual and reproductive information in friendly, trustful, and inclusive way using Urukundo Board Game with the focus of upbringing a healthy thriving generation free from teenage pregnancies, unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections including HIV/AIDS. Urukundo Initiative is a leading and first ever licensed health board game producing company based in Rwanda. It is a friendly, safe, trustful and informative platform for young people.
